Governor Ducey recently signed legislation that doubles the Tax Credit for Contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (formerly "Working Poor Tax Credit).
SB 1216 increases the contribution limits from $200 for an individual to $400, and from $400 for a married couple to $800.
On May 17, SB 1217 was signed into law, which extends the Charitable Tax Credit contribution deadline to April 15 from its current December 31 deadline.
