COVID-19 Crisis: Your Help Is Urgently Needed

With people losing their jobs, schools closing, and the COVID-19 landscape quickly changing, A New Leaf continues to provide critical services to individuals and families in need. The work we do is more important than ever.

For almost five decades, A New Leaf’s doors have remained open to anyone who needs us: the homeless, the abandoned, the abused. We have served the community with a broad spectrum of services that include housing and shelter, health and wellness, financial empowerment, domestic violence services, educational services, family support, and foster care programs.

Now today with the COVID-19 outbreak, our doors remain open. We are committed to continuing to serve the most vulnerable during this uncertain time. As the situation continues to change, we want the community to know we are dedicated to our clients and their well-being, even as we expect our expenses to increase significantly.

At this time, we have an urgent need across a variety of areas as we face the consequences of the Coronavirus.

An online donation of any amount via debit or credit card on our donation page is an easy way to make a difference today. It can be a one-time or monthly donation for even greater impact. The current economic upheaval makes it even more critical to raise funds needed to provide these essential services.

Donations of goods and staples are also urgently needed, including toilet paper, hand sanitizer, face masks, grocery store gift cards, bottled water, diapers, cereal, boxed rice and potatoes, peanut butter, and non-perishable food items.

Our Donation Center is open M-F 8-4 pm and is located at 2245 West Ella Street, Building A, Mesa, AZ 85201. You can reach us at 480-464-4648.

Our shelters rely on volunteers to prepare meals, and this need has only increased. Sack lunches and boxed meals will feed our residents who might otherwise go hungry.

We know that not everyone can make an in-kind or cash gift right now. A New Leaf also accepts gifts of other assets, such as real estate or other property, which can make a transformative impact. We hope you will consider a gift in your will or trust, and support these needs in the future.

We are thankful to all of you, our donors and supporters, who are thinking of us at this time. THANK YOU!!!
