KTAR’s Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes at Camaraderie Gala

Popular radio hosts Pamela Hughes and Bruce St. James from KTAR News 92.3 FM Radio will host this year’s Camaraderie Gala on March 12. The pair will bring their high energy, on-air chemistry and love for causes to this year’s signature fundraiser for A New Leaf.

The Bruce and Pamela Show is one of the Valley’s leading radio programs, a top-rated show that enjoys a very loyal fan base. The show features topics around politics and current events and also a “Faith in Humanity” segment that showcases the work of Valley charities.

Pamela has been with the KTAR team since 2003. She has worn many hats at the radio station including reporter, editor, anchor, Managing Editor and Interim News Director. Pamela studied Broadcast Journalism at Arizona State University and has since taught at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. When she isn’t behind a microphone or chasing the big story of the day, you’ll find Pamela at home with her husband Kris, daughter Riley and her crazy Chocolate Lab named Chewie.

Bruce has an extensive career in radio programming, having worked at some of the biggest and most influential radio stations in America. He has worked in Los Angeles, San Diego and other cities. Bruce always posts a “song of the day” on Facebook and besides being a huge music fan also loves car racing with his dirt track Sprint Car. Having attended the University of Arizona and lived in Tucson growing up, Bruce understands the Arizona culture and has strong ties to the state.
