The REACH Sexual Violence Services Center and 24 hour Helpline addresses the unique, short- and long-term emotional safety and healing needs of those who have experienced sexual violence in the past and/or present.

Services are free, survivor-driven, and healing-centered, providing individualized support and empowerment for survivors and secondary survivors of all genders, sexual orientations, and expressions. REACH Advocates provide survivors a supportive space to be heard, believed, and empowered on their healing journey. Some of the services offered through the REACH Center include:

HelplineProvides emotional support, advocacy, information and resource referral, setting appointments with staff as requested.

 

Personal Advocacy & Emotional Safety PlanningAvailable In-person at REACH Center, virtually (phone or Zoom), or mobile advocacy in safe community settings.

 

Group SupportRISE (Resilience In Shared Experience) virtual , gender inclusive support groups for survivors. Additional therapeutic healing activities are offered as available.

 

Medical Accompaniment (as requested) – Medical Forensic Exams.

 

Legal Accompaniment (as requested) – Law Enforcement Reporting.

 

Resource Referral – Counseling/Therapy, Holistic Healing Options, Legal Advocacy, etc.

 

Community Education & Training – offer training and educational presentations to community members, businesses, churches, schools, colleges, sororities, service clubs, as well as awareness and tabling events.

RISE support group

A New Leaf’s RISE (Resilience In Shared Experience) group gives survivors of sexual violence a safe and confidential place to know they are not alone. This free support group helps explore coping skills, understand the effects of trauma, and create a safe place to share.

The RISE group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6pm-7pm over Zoom.
