stabilizing families in need
Specifically designed for neighborhoods with high student mobility rates, the Siemer Family Stability Program creates long-lasting change. It addresses the issues that push families to the brink of homelessness.
The Siemer Family Stability Program utilizes a “two-generation” approach to aiding families. This works to end the cycle of homelessness and prevent future instability. Parent services are focused on financial literacy, employment assistance, and lessons on how to be a successful tenant. Children are offered tutoring, after-school activities, and assistance with improving attendance at school.
Additionally, the Siemer Family Stability Program helps families that struggle to keep up with bills, providing food, diapers, back to school supplies, and other basic needs. By working with adults and children to promote happy, stable families, A New Leaf is building a brighter future for our community.
