Three Big Grant Awards to A New Leaf

A New Leaf was recently awarded three separate grants to support the services of the La Mesita Campus, including our family homeless shelter and services, Headstart, after school programs, and the workforce development program.

Wells Fargo awarded A New Leaf $200,000 for construction of Phase 3 of the La Mesita Campus, which will include 30 units of housing for the homeless. This is the highest grant awarded by Wells Fargo this year. We want to especially thank Rhonda Curtis, Gavin Hallock, Lisa Everhart, and Christian von Merkatz for their support.

Additionally, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community awarded A New Leaf $50,000 to support the ongoing operations of the La Mesita Family Homeless Shelter. And Ford Motor Company awarded A New Leaf $15,000 to support the La Mesita Campus.

These generous partners exemplify the ideals of community engagement and supporting those less fortunate. We are grateful for their generosity to support A New Leaf’s mission of Helping Families . . . Changing Lives.
