Any offer of employment with A New Leaf is contingent upon a successful consumer report to include verification of employment, driving records and criminal background search. Applicants whose experience and training are most closely suited to the needs of the Agency may be selected for interviews. A New Leaf is an at-will employer.

In addition to the education, skills and experience for each specific position, the following requirements must also be met:·        

  • All employees given an offer of employment must meet following driving insurability per our liability insurance guidelines.
     
  • All employees must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check for the purpose of obtaining DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card. A New Leaf will assist you with your fingerprints during New Employee Orientation (N.E.O.).

Should DPS deny your Class 1 Clearance Card, you may be terminated from your employment with A New Leaf upon verification of the denial from DPS. If you are concerned whether or not you will qualify to receive a valid Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, please call DPS in advance at (602) 223-2279.

  • Applications are accepted for open positions only. Please keep in mind that all of our positions are open until filled (unless otherwise specified) and are subject to close or change with or without notice.
     
  • All applications are reviewed and only the most qualified applicants are invited to continue in the next process. Applicants selected for an interview may be contacted via phone or email. When submitting your resume/application, please make sure all contact information is current and up to date.
     
  • The Office of Behavioral Health and Licensing (OBHL) require that all direct-care employees are at least 21 years of age.
     
  • Depending on positions and driving-related responsibilities, all employees will need to have a valid Arizona Drivers license.
     
  • An eligible candidate not given an offer of employment may remain on review and may be processed by our Program Managers for any additional open positions.

The skills/education that you send to Human Resources and how it relates to the position(s) you apply for is extremely important. Falsification of application information and/or failure to list any criminal convictions/misdemeanors/crimes and/or traffic violations/tickets may result in disqualification or dismissal from employment.
