court advocacy

providing guidance and support to survivors
A New Leaf’s Court Advocacy Program provides survivors of abuse with the resources necessary to apply for Orders of Protection and Injunctions of Harassment. Survivors can go through the legal process without fear and uncertainty.
Court Advocates are bilingual in Spanish and English. They work closely with those seeking protection, learning the details of their cases and helping them understand next steps to securing protection. The reassuring expertise of a Court Advocate keeps a survivor’s case on track, ensuring their long-term safety.
