A New Leaf’s internship program is a great opportunity for students in the Phoenix area who want hands-on experience in a variety of fields within the nonprofit industry. Since 1971, A New Leaf has provided a variety of human services that help families and individuals move from crisis situations into long-term stability. With over 30 programs across the Valley, many of which are accessible by the Valley Metro Lightrail, our interns help make our community a better place for everyone.
Our interns can engage in opportunities for academic credit, service learning, program study, capstone projects, and gaining valuable experience. All types of skills are needed, so don’t hesitate to reach out and see what opportunities are available.

A New Leaf is currently offering opportunities through AmeriCorps VISTA in partnership with Arizona Food Bank Network. We are offering positions in the East and West Valley focused on coordinating and designing meal programs for key housing and shelter programs.
