Donors and volunteers across the Valley gathered at the East Valley Institute of Technology to celebrate A New Leaf’s 45-year anniversary.
Enjoying a delicious lunch and an inspiring program, attendees were treated to videos of long-term supporters telling their personal stories about the organization’s 45 year history.
Awards were given to the following individuals and organizations for their exemplary support during the past year:
Corporate Donor of the Year: Thunderbird Charities
Individual Donor of the Year: Kathye Brown
Board Donor of the Year: David Woolstrum

Gift-in-Kind Donor: International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE)
Volunteer Group of the Year: Alpha Chi Omega at ASU
Individual Volunteer of the Year: Susan Samuel
Youth Volunteer of the Year: Tyse Hipps
Volunteer Board Chair Deanna Villanueva-Saucedo called the award recipients “Heroes” and spoke of their dedication to helping victims of domestic violence and homelessness.
