Serving children 6 weeks to 5 years of age, early childhood education programming focuses on each child’s unique characteristics, developmental needs, and interests to support their growth and development during the most important years in a child’s development.

Phoenix Day

Phoenix Day provides comprehensive early childhood education to children aged 0-5, giving them a foundation for lifelong learning and healthy living.

Many children across the Valley experience behavioral challenges that disrupt their lives at home, in school, and in the community. Through multiple after-school programs, A New Leaf offers children and youth a chance to learn healthy behaviors and catch up in school.

East Valley After School Program

A New Leaf’s East Valley After School and Summer Program is a safe space for children to learn positive coping skills and move past challenges related to behavioral health.

La Mesita After School Program

A New Leaf’s La Mesita After School Program provides children with the support they need to succeed academically and personally. This program is designed to give parents staying in the La Mesita apartments access to affordable childcare.

A New Leaf believes that education is the key out of homelessness and poverty. Through a variety of programs, we help adults achieve their educational goals, providing them with the professional and technical skills they need to move up in the workplace.

Individual Development Account

A New Leaf’s Individual Development Account Program is a matched savings program for college. Each dollar a student saves is matched with $8.

MesaCAN

In partnership with Mesa Counts on College, MesaCAN offers ACT, SAT, and PSAT preparation courses. Classes are also available to help students prepare for their GED, enroll in college, and secure financial assistance.

Workforce Services

A New Leaf helps those looking to rejoin the workforce or advance their careers by assisting with building a resume, helping establish references, and finding employers willing to help them to grow and succeed.
